The Massage of Los Altos (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a massage therapy business located in Los Altos, California, operating this website to share information about our services and help visitors book appointments through our scheduling partner, Fresha.

The site is static and informational. It has no forms, account logins, or newsletter sign-ups, so it does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or other personal information directly.

Booking and payment are handled entirely through Fresha, a third-party scheduling and payments platform. When you click “Book Now,” you leave our site for Fresha's, which operates under its own privacy policy and terms — we do not receive or store your booking submissions. Any personal information you provide to Fresha is governed by Fresha’s Privacy Policy, not this one; please direct data requests about your booking information to Fresha directly.

The only data collected in connection with this site is collected automatically, in the background, through the analytics and mapping tools described below.

When you visit the site, certain technical information may be collected automatically through cookies, only after you consent via our cookie banner (see “Cookies & Consent” below and our Cookie Policy). This may include:

The site uses a cookie consent banner that blocks non-essential cookies — including Google Analytics and Google Maps — until you choose “Accept.” Choosing “Reject” keeps both disabled. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link in the site footer.

Because there is no common industry standard for how sites should respond to browser “Do Not Track” settings, our site does not currently respond to DNT signals. Instead, we give you direct control through the cookie banner described above.

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) generally applies to larger businesses meeting specific revenue or data-volume thresholds, which The Massage of Los Altos does not currently meet. As a matter of good practice, if you have questions about any information associated with your visit, you may still contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to assist you or direct you to the appropriate third party.

Our services are intended for adults 18 years of age and older, and the site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
