This Cookie Policy explains how The Massage of Los Altos (“we,” “us,” “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on themassagelosaltos.com (the “Site”), and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

Google Analytics and Google Maps do not load, and no cookies from them are set, until you choose “Accept.” If you reject or close the banner without choosing, those services remain blocked. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link in the Site footer, which reopens this same choice.

If your browser or an installed extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we automatically treat it the same as choosing “Reject” — analytics and mapping cookies stay blocked without you needing to interact with the banner at all. You can still choose “Accept” afterward via the footer link if you’d like to allow them.

Your cookie consent choice itself is remembered using your browser’s local storage, not a cookie. This is not blocked by the banner because the Site cannot function correctly without it — for example, without it, the banner would reappear on every page.

Until you consent, the map area of the Site displays a placeholder instead of the live, interactive embed, so no Google cookies are set.

If you click through to Fresha to book an appointment, you will leave our Site and Fresha’s own cookies and tracking technologies will apply, governed by Fresha’s Privacy Policy and its cookie practices. This Cookie Policy does not cover cookies set on Fresha’s website or app.

You can manage your cookie choices at any time by:

• Clicking “Cookie Preferences” in the footer of any page on the Site
• Clearing cookies through your browser settings, which will cause the consent banner to reappear on your next visit
• Using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to opt out of Google Analytics across all websites, regardless of our banner

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat this as equivalent to choosing “Reject,” and analytics/mapping cookies remain blocked automatically for that visit.

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies or applicable law changes. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
